Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Collection and Delivery Driver to join our team in. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional service worldwide.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to various locations.
Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and safety.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Assist with warehouse activities as needed.
Perform heavy lifting when required to handle shipments.
Ensure the security and integrity of all transported items.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery or collection driver, with a strong focus on safety.
Previous or current experince with the lodgement of freight at cargo and courier sheds at London Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
Minimum of 5 years' van driving experience.
Valid commercial driving license.
Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic regulations.
Ability to lift heavy items safely.
Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
Reliable, punctual, and responsible attitude.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Security Requirements

As this role involves handling known cargo, applicants must be able to satisfy aviation security requirements, including:

A current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
5 years of checkable employment and address history.
Right to work in the UK.

Pay: Up to £26,390.00 per year
