Meetings & Events Supervisor

Rose Castle | Dalston, Cumbria
Minimum 24-hour contract | Up to £14 per hour (depending on experience)

Join the Team at Rose Castle

Rose Castle is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Meetings & Events Supervisor to help deliver exceptional experiences across our weddings, corporate retreats, private celebrations and residential programmes.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team at one of Cumbria's most unique venues. You'll lead by example, supporting the day-to-day delivery of events while ensuring our guests receive warm, professional and memorable service.

What You'll Be Doing

Supervising food and beverage service across weddings, meetings and events
Leading casual team members during service and ensuring high standards are maintained
Assisting with event setup, room preparations and service delivery
Welcoming guests and ensuring every event runs smoothly from start to finish
Supporting bar operations, including serving drinks where required
Handling guest enquiries professionally and resolving issues confidently
Working closely with the kitchen, events and operations teams
Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation and health & safety
Assisting with opening and closing procedures when required

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in hospitality, preferably within meetings, events or weddings
A confident, hands-on leader who enjoys supporting and motivating a team
Excellent customer service and communication skills
A calm and organised approach in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays
Personal Licence holders are desirable but not essential

What We Offer

Minimum 24-hour contracted position with opportunities for additional hours
Up to £14.00 per hour, depending on experience
