Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Morning and Afternoon Shift Receptionist to join our team! This vital role involves welcoming guests, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors and staff. You will be the first point of contact, embodying professionalism, warmth, and efficiency. Your energetic approach will help create a positive environment that reflects our commitment to exceptional guest services and hospitality excellence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a vibrant, customer-focused setting. Shifts are 1 morning and 4 afternoons.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service at all times
Manage check-in and check-out procedures with efficiency and professionalism
Answer incoming phone calls promptly, using proper phone etiquette to direct inquiries or take messages
Handle guest requests, inquiries, and provide information about services or amenities
Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is organized, clean, and welcoming
Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met swiftly and accurately
Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments or updating guest records

Requirements

Proven experience in hospitality or hotel reception is highly preferred
Strong communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse guests and visitors
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Experience working with guest services software or hotel management systems is advantageous
A friendly, energetic attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality experiences
Previous experience in multilingual environments is desirable
