Live-In Domestic Housekeeper and Gardener – Private Estate (UK)

Salary: £35,000 a year for each
Accommodation: Separate self-contained accommodation provided
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Start date: Mid August

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive , a Live-in Housekeeper and Gardener/ Handyman to join a private household on a beautiful estate near Haslemere, Surrey. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and high-quality on-site accommodation. The successful candidates will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and smooth running of the household and grounds, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work flexibly, including weekends as required.

Key Housekeeper partner Responsibilities:

Daily housekeeping to a high standard, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and organisation
Cooking and meal preparation for the principals, with occasional informal entertaining
Household provisioning and stock management
Running errands and managing deliveries
Liaising with contractors and service providers as needed
Ensuring the home is always guest-ready
Flexibility to support weekend routines and events
Occasional pet care and other ad hoc duties

Maintenance/Grounds Partner

General property maintenance and minor repairs
Gardening and grounds maintenance
Vehicle cleaning and basic maintenance
Liaising with contractors and service providers
Security checks and general estate support

Requirements

Previous experience working on a private estate, in a private household, or within luxury hospitality min 3 years.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage daily operations efficiently
Exceptional presentation skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standard at all times
Professional, discreet, trustworthy, and proactive
Excellent references
Full UK driving licence for at least one with car
Right to work in the UK
