HR Officer

The Marches Academy Trust

Grade 8 SCP 19-22 (£32,061 to £33,699 per annum)

37 Hours | Permanent | Shrewsbury

Are you an organised, focused HR professional looking to develop your career within a growing and ambitious organisation?

The Marches Academy Trust is seeking a proactive HR Officer to join our team, providing high-quality HR, recruitment and payroll administration support across our family of schools. You will play a key role in delivering an excellent HR service, supporting schools through every stage of the employee lifecycle and helping to ensure our people are able to thrive.

This varied role includes recruitment and onboarding, employment documentation, payroll administration, workforce data management, compliance monitoring and responding to routine HR queries. You will be the first point of contact for an allocated group of schools, building positive relationships and delivering a professional, responsive service.

We are looking for someone with experience in HR, payroll or recruitment administration, excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities while handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
