Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Nurse Level 3 to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for young children to learn, grow, and develop essential skills. Your leadership and management skills will ensure high-quality care and support for each child's individual needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while working within a dynamic and supportive team.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children’s development across all areas including social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills
Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being in accordance with regulatory standards
Support children’s early learning experiences by fostering independence, curiosity, and confidence
Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and daily activities
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child's individual needs and development plans
Lead by example in promoting positive behavior management strategies and creating an inclusive environment
Manage daily routines such as mealtimes, naps, and outdoor play sessions with enthusiasm and professionalism

Requirements

Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
Strong management and leadership skills to guide team members effectively
Excellent communication skills in English to liaise confidently with colleagues, parents, and children
Knowledge of childcare regulations, health & safety standards, and safeguarding procedures
Ability to work flexibly across different shifts as required by the nursery schedule
Valid driving license is desirable for transporting children or attending off-site activities
