About the role

Are you a qualified Electrician or Electronics Engineer looking for a unique, hands-on role where you can develop specialist skills and play a key part in keeping the Island moving? Join the Department of Infrastructure's Highways Services Traffic Team as a Traffic Engineer and help install, maintain and improve a wide range of highway assets, including traffic signals, pedestrian crossings, Smiley SID devices and traffic monitoring equipment. This is a varied role where you'll solve problems, work both independently and as part of a close-knit team and continue to develop your skills through specialist training and qualifications.

You'll also play an important role in supporting major events such as the TT, helping to deliver systems including digital flag installations, timing loops and traffic management measures across the Island. Working with contractors, members of the public and colleagues across Government, you'll be part of a supportive team making a visible difference every day.
