Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food service environments. This role involves supporting the smooth operation of our catering and restaurant services, ensuring guests receive a memorable dining experience. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills within a dynamic hospitality setting.

Duties

Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner
Assist with food preparation and presentation to ensure high standards of quality and hygiene
Set up dining areas, including table arrangements and cleanliness standards
Take orders accurately and handle transactions using POS systems
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in accordance with food safety regulations
Support catering events by preparing and serving food as required
Restock supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly for service periods
Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless hospitality experiences

Requirements

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
Experience in food preparation or restaurant environments is advantageous
Barista experience or familiarity with coffee making is desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Ability to work flexibly, including weekends or evenings if required
A proactive attitude towards maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction
Personal commitment to delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £12.71 per hour
