Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Door Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling and inspecting fire doors to meet safety standards and client specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction-related trades and be capable of working with various tools and schematics. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in carpentry.

Duties

Assemble fire doors according to detailed technical drawings
Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to construct door components
Install hardware such as hinges, locks, and seals onto assembled doors
Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and client requirements
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
Follow all safety protocols during assembly processes

Requirements

Proven experience in fire door manufacturing
Strong knowledge of fire door construction and components
Ability to work from drawings and specifications
Experience working within fire door certification requirements

This position is suitable for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills within specialised manufacturing processes related to fire safety equipment.

Pay: £13.00-£18.00 per hour
