We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman/woman to join our team. Duties
- Carry out carpentry tasks including repairs, installations, and modifications
- Perform roofing repairs and maintenance to ensure structural integrity
- Undertake construction painting projects to enhance property appearance
- Handle plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, installing fixtures, and maintaining pipes
- Conduct masonry work including bricklaying, repointing, and concrete repairs
- Carry out welding tasks for metal fabrication and repairs
- Undertake electrical work within scope of experience, including wiring and fixture installation
- Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks
- Fabricate custom parts or structures as required for specific projects
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times
Experience
- Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, or electrical work is highly desirable
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools in a professional setting
- Experience in fabrication or custom building projects is advantageous
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications is beneficial
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different repair scenarios
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Valid UK driving licence is preferred but not essential
