Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Waitress/Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves delivering exceptional guest service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring patrons enjoy a memorable experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the food service industry.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely delivery
Serve drinks and meals in accordance with health and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen duties when required
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
Manage multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Provide excellent guest services, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments preferred
Strong knowledge of serving techniques and guest service standards
Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately
Familiarity with food preparation and kitchen operations is desirable
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales
Good organisational skills to maintain a clean and tidy workspace
Friendly, approachable manner with strong communication skills

Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
