Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Spray Painter to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles and vehicle components, ensuring a flawless and durable result. Responsibilities

Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
Mix paints, primers, and coatings accurately according to colour specifications and technical data sheets.
Apply paint using spray guns, ensuring even coverage and smooth finish across all surfaces.
Use hand tools and power tools to assist with surface preparation and minor repairs prior to painting.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including proper disposal of waste materials.
Conduct quality checks on finished work to verify colour match, finish quality, and adherence to specifications.
Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist with the maintenance and calibration of spray equipment to ensure consistent performance.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle surfaces and painting techniques.
Proficiency in handling hand tools such as sanders, scrapers, and masking equipment.
