Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your electrical expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Duties

Installing, inspecting, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with technical specifications and safety regulations.
Diagnosing electrical issues using specialised tools and implementing effective solutions promptly.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute electrical installations accurately.
Conducting routine maintenance checks on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Collaborating with other tradespeople and project managers to coordinate work schedules and meet project deadlines.
Ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety legislation, including risk assessments and method statements.
Maintaining detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections carried out.

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters.
Experience operating power tools including drills, saws, and cable cutters safely and effectively.
Solid electrical experience with a thorough understanding of wiring regulations, circuit design, and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to read technical diagrams and interpret electrical schematics accurately.
Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail to identify issues swiftly.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently whilst adhering to safety standards.
Good communication skills for liaising with team members and clients professionally.
