Full job description

Admin/Accounts Assistant

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Office Administrator and Accounts Assistant. This is a part-time role, equating to 3 days a week based in our office in St. Day with no option of hybrid working. You will be the first point of contact for our customers and suppliers, so a friendly and warm personality is a must!

This role reports to the Operations Manager, whilst also working with our external accountants when finalising paperwork for VAT returns and Year End Accounts on an ad-hoc basis.

The successful applicant will be proficient in the below areas:

· Debtors Control

· Creditors Control

· Purchase Ledger Control

· Sales Ledger Control

· Bank Reconciliations

· Petty Cash Handling/Reconciliation

· Handling of Company Correspondence (including but not limited to telephone calls, emails, letters etc)

· Proficient in working collaboratively with others when required, but also able to efficiently manage workload solo

· Ability to multitask

· Ability to handle confidential data daily with a discreet, efficient and professional attitude

· Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
