Full job description

Overview

Real People Solutions are working with a well-established organisation in the New Forest to recruit a permanent HR Administrator to join their busy and varied HR team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator who enjoys working with systems and wants a role offering variety, responsibility and genuine career progression.

The primary focus of the position will be the administration and coordination of the organisation's Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring employee records, learning information and eLearning modules are accurate and up to date.

Alongside this, you will provide wider HR administration support across areas including recruitment, job evaluation, employee records and general HR processes.

This is a fast-paced role where strong organisational skills, attention to detail and confidence using different systems will be essential.

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain the organisation's Learning Management System (LMS)
Ensure employee and training information is accurate and up to date
Provide day-to-day HR administration support to managers and employees
Support recruitment and related HR processes
Assist with job evaluation and other HR administration activities
Respond to HR-related queries and provide information and guidance within agreed procedures
Maintain confidential employee information securely
Troubleshoot system and administrative issues, escalating more complex matters where appropriate
Manage competing priorities and work to deadlines during busy periods
Support wider HR projects and administrative activities when required
Work collaboratively as part of the wider HR team

About you

We are looking for someone with previous HR administration experience who is confident working with systems and can quickly learn new software and processes.

You will ideally have:

Previous experience in a similar HR administration role
Strong IT and systems skills, ideally including an HR/Payroll system and/or Learning Management System
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work accurately and confidentially with sensitive information
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
A proactive approach with the confidence to use your own initiative
GCSE Maths and English at Grade A-C or equivalent
A current driving licence

This position offers an excellent opportunity for career development.

Candidates who meet the full progression criteria may be eligible for progression to a salary of up to £30,372.

The progression criteria includes:

A Certificate in Personnel Practice, equivalent Personnel/HR qualification or at least 3 A-Levels
Substantial office administration experience, including at least 18 months' experience using an integrated HR/Payroll system
Proven experience providing guidance to others on HR procedures
The ability to take on project work and use initiative when dealing with HR-related matters
