Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sewing Machinist to join our dynamic team creating beautiful made to measure curtains, roman blinds and soft furnishings . In this role, you will be responsible for operating sewing machines to produce high-quality soft furnishings. Your expertise will contribute to efficient production processes, ensuring that each item meets our quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for sewing and a knack for precision craftsmanship to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Operate various sewing machines to assemble and finish products according to specifications
Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency, making adjustments as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
Troubleshoot machine issues promptly to minimize downtime
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality goals
Record production data accurately and report any discrepancies or equipment malfunctions

Experience

Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
Proven sewing skills with the ability to operate different types of sewing machines confidently
Familiarity with manufactoring procedures and safety protocols is a plus
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
Basic understanding of fabric types, and sewing techniques is advantageous
