Full job description

IT Support Technician

Plimsoll is seeking an experienced First/Second Line IT Support Technician to join our friendly Operations Support team.
As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for supporting all operational IT requirements within the company.To be successful, you will need to have a personable, friendly manner; be customer-focused; and have experience supporting and administering Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.You must also have experience supporting both Mac and Windows laptops and experience supporting iOS and Zoom Phone would be advantageous.

Start Date: ASAP
Working Pattern: Mon-Fri (9:30am – 6pm)
Location: Clifton, Bristol
Salary: Dependent on experience Contract: Permanent
Responsibilities:

Provide first and second line IT support for 100+ staff based remotely and in our Bristol office.
Support users on both Google and Microsoft applications, including Google Workplace and Microsoft 365
Support users on both MacOS and Windows operating systems.
Support video conferences on Google Meet, Zoom and MS Teams
Set up and close down IT requirements for new starters and leavers (IT accounts, permissions, hardware etc.)
Manage stock of hardware, including laptops and peripherals.
Maintain and troubleshoot company printers
Manage and maintain AD security groups.
Manage Google Groups and Google Drive access permissions.
Maintain and support the AV in our meeting rooms and open spaces.
Set up and run the tech for our offsite and company meetings.
Identify problems and help to implement improvements to our existing IT services and workflows
