Full job description

We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to serve as a Church Administrator for our vibrant congregation. The Church Administrator plays a pivotal role in the efficient operation of our church, overseeing administrative functions and supporting various ministries. If you have a passion for organizational excellence, strong administrative skills, and a heart for ministry, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of the church office.
Supervise and support administrative staff and volunteers.
Oversee maintenance, repairs, and improvements of church property.
Facilitate effective communication within the church community through newsletters, bulletins, and other communication channels.
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of church members.
Assist with membership inquiries and updates.
Assist in planning and coordinating church events, conferences, and special services.
Provide administrative support to church departments.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among ministry leaders.
Ensure compliance with church policies and procedures.
Work with church leadership to develop and update policies as needed.
Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of church staff and volunteers.
Manage personnel records and coordinate volunteer schedules.
Contribute to the development and implementation of the church’s strategic plans.
Provide administrative support for long-term goals and initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience in church administration or a similar role.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in office software and database management.
Understanding of church operations, policies, and ministries.
