Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Hygienist/Therapist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting oral health. In this energetic position, you will perform comprehensive dental cleanings, assist with patient education, and support the clinical team. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment that encourages patient trust and satisfaction, all while adhering to the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a collaborative setting dedicated to improving oral health outcomes.

Work days would be every Friday and every other Wednesday.

A minimum of 3 qualified years practicing.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental hygiene assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Perform professional cleanings such as scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to maintain optimal patient oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, dietary habits, and preventive care strategies.
Maintain detailed patient records, documenting treatments, findings, and recommendations clearly and accurately.
Support infection control protocols and sterilization procedures to uphold safety standards for staff and patients.

Skills

Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health principles to provide effective patient care.
Proficient in SOE/Exact for clinical record keeping, charting, and appointment management.
Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively and collaborate with team members.
Familiarity with anatomy knowledge relevant to dental procedures and patient assessments.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage patient records efficiently.
Positive attitude with a passion for promoting health education and building trusting relationships.
GDC-registered Dental Hygienist.
