Full job description

Job Overview

We are looking for a passionate Dental Therapist to join our established, modern practice on a part time basis. The ideal candidate will be proficient in providing a range of dental treatments utilising the full dental therapist scope of practice.

Responsibilities

Provide a range of dental treatments, including preventative care, restorative procedures, and oral health education.
Assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning by taking and interpreting dental radiographs and medical imaging
Develop individualised treatment plans and collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment notes and imaging results
Engage with patients empathetically, ensuring a pain-free and positive dental experience.

Requirements

Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members
Diploma or degree in dental therapy and full registration with the GDC
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in dental therapy.
