Role Overview

The Admin Assistant will support the daily operations of our accountancy practice. This role is ideal for someone organised, confident on the phone, and comfortable assisting a busy team with varied administrative and marketing tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls, manage enquiries, and direct clients to the correct team member.
Open, sort, scan, and distribute letters; manage outgoing post.
Assist accountants with day‑to‑day admin tasks, including document preparation and client follow‑ups.
Maintain polite, professional communication via email and phone.
Help create short videos for social media and marketing campaigns (training provided).
Maintain a tidy workspace, manage supplies, and support smooth daily operations.

Skills & Qualities

Clear, confident, and professional communication skills.
Strong organisational ability and task prioritisation.
Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, and basic video tools.
Positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
High attention to detail when handling documents and client information.

Experience (Preferred but not essential)

Previous admin or receptionist experience.
Experience in a professional services environment.
Basic understanding of accountancy practice workflows (training provided).
