Flavin's Landscapes are a small, family run business with a huge passion for creating and maintaining outdoor spaces.
We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance and safety of various outdoor spaces, including schools, commercial spaces, parks, gardens, and other commercial grounds.
This role does not require previous skills or experience within Horticulture or gardening, although it is preferable.

This job role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your personal skills and adapt them and use them within landscape maintenance, horticulture, and construction, contributing to the maintenance of our sites.
You will work as a part of a team along side a team leader which will help you and guide you in developing your skills and abilities.
Every day duties
- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilising to ensure healthy growth and visual appeal.
- Operate a range of power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for trimming, edging, and general grounds care.
- Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify areas requiring attention or repair.
- Assist with construction projects related to landscaping or outdoor structures as required.
- Maintain equipment through basic mechanical knowledge, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, safe, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high standards of quality.

- Grounds Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
- PA1 Pesticide Certificate (preferred)
- PA6 Spraying Licence (preferred)
