Footprint Group is a full-service marketing agency based in Swindon and Southampton. We give time-poor trades businesses and SMEs across the UK a single, trusted partner for their marketing — signage, print, creative design, branded merchandise, and digital marketing, all connected through our own CRM and automation platform, Your Lead Kit.

The role

We're looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our Swindon team — a hands-on, detail-focused role at the centre of how we build, report on, and deliver digital marketing for our clients and for Footprint Group itself.

This is not a client account management role. It's a production and delivery role for someone who's genuinely good with a website build, comfortable living inside a spreadsheet or a reporting dashboard, and curious about how AI tools can make marketing work faster and better. You'll work closely with our design, paid media and CRM teams, keeping campaigns, websites and reports moving so the wider team can focus on strategy and client relationships.

The role sits across three areas:

1. Digital Marketing Admin & Reporting

— Build and maintain regular performance reports for internal stakeholders and external clients

— Pull data from Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta and Your Lead Kit into clear, accurate reporting

— Keep campaign trackers, task boards and client records up to date and audit-ready

— Support account leads with admin around onboarding, campaign setup and scheduling

— Flag issues or opportunities in the data before they become problems

2. Website Design & Development

— Design and build client websites primarily in WordPress

— Build and customise websites using template frameworks within our Your Lead Kit platform

— Carry out day-to-day website support: content updates, fixes, page builds, basic troubleshooting

— Follow brand and technical guidelines accurately across every build

— Work with designers and developers to turn briefs into working, on-brand websites

3. AI-Powered Marketing Delivery

— Use Claude and ChatGPT confidently as everyday tools for content, research and admin efficiency

— Use Canva to produce on-brand social, print and campaign assets

— Use an AI image/video platform such as Higgsfield to produce campaign creative

— Bring ideas for how AI tools can speed up reporting, content and website work across the team

— Keep pace with new AI features relevant to marketing delivery

About you

— Organised, methodical and comfortable managing several jobs at once

— Confident building or editing a WordPress website without hand-holding

— Numerate and comfortable working with data — reports don't intimidate you

— Already using AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT in your own work or study

— A good eye for design and attention to detail — nothing goes out with typos or misaligned templates

— Happy working behind the scenes rather than leading client meetings

— Proactive — you flag problems and suggest fixes rather than waiting to be told

Useful experience

You don't need every one of these, but the more you can tick off, the better a fit this role will be:

— WordPress site building or maintenance (Elementor, Beaver Builder, or similar page builders)

— Basic HTML/CSS — enough to tidy up a page or troubleshoot a layout issue

— Google Analytics / GA4 and Google Ads or Meta Ads reporting

— Canva or similar design tools

— Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant used regularly for real work

— An AI image or video generation platform (Higgsfield, Midjourney, Runway or similar)

— CRM or automation platforms (GoHighLevel experience is a bonus, not a requirement)

— A marketing, digital, design or IT-related qualification — not essential, but relevant
