Full job description

What you'll be doing:

Recording financial transactions in Xero
Coding receipts and purchase invoices through Dext
Reconciling the bank
Communicating with clients for information
Checking control accounts on the balance sheet
VAT returns
Journals for prepayments, payroll and accruals
Support with management accounts
Communicating confidently with clients via meetings, calls and messages.
Providing proactive support to help clients understand and improve their numbers.

We’re looking for someone who:

Holds at least AAT Level 3.
Has a minimum of 3 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice or as a self-employed bookkeeper.
Is confident using Xero (and ideally Dext too).
Can manage their own workload and work independently.
Is great with clients and enjoys building strong relationships.
