Full job description

Location: Leighton Buzzard

Contract: Full Time, 36 hours per week

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for Female Support Workers to work with our client who has a Spinal Cord Injury, living in their own home in the Leighton Buzzard area of LU7.

Duties:

You will be working with an energetic and dedicated team on a rota basis, including Long Days, Waking and Sleeping Nights.

You will be working with our client on a 2:1 basis on both days and nights.

The role includes all aspects of personal care and support for daily living activities.

Hours of Work:

8am - 8pm (Long Day)

8pm - 8am (Sleeping Night) (8pm - 10pm and 6am - 8am paid at waking night rate)

8pm - 8am (Waking Night)

A Full Clean UK Driving License is a requirement for this role. You must be prepared to drive the clients Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle. We do not accept Provisional License or International License's.

An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check WILL be required.

Rates of Pay:

£16.00 per hour - Mon - Fri Day Shift

£17.00 per hour - Mon - Fri Waking Night Shift

£17.00 per hour - Sat - Sun Day Shift

£18.00 per hour - Sat -Sun Waking Night Shift

£11.50 per hour - Mon - Fri Sleeping Night

£12.50 per hour - Sat - Sun Sleeping Night

£12.71 per hour - Training Rate.

About you:

Required

Non Smokers and Non Vapers as requested by the client
A Full Clean UK Driving License, you will be expected to drive the client's Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle
The right candidates will be professional, reliable, respectful, proactive, flexible, trustworthy, and committed.
A keen, positive individual with a can-do attitude and a passion for working in care.

Desirable

Previous experience of working in care would be preferred, but specialist training will be provided
