Full job description

Amber Valley CVS are recruiting a “Help at Home” Project Coordinator – Amber Valley Area

The Help at Home project currently provides over 500 hours of domestic and gardening support to elderly and disabled clients across Amber Valley & Erewash each week.

We are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated and organised individual who will be the main contact for customers and staff of the service in the Amber Valley area. You will match customer needs to staff availability and ensure that timesheets are issued and returned to meet service deadlines. There will be extensive telephone and face to face contact in this role to answer all enquiries about the service. All service information is maintained on databases which you will need to update. This post coordinates diaries for over 50 staff members which supports 450 Amber Valley clients to live independently in their own home.

Amber Valley CVS is a volunteer centre; you will offer support to volunteers involved with this project.

To take on this very challenging and rewarding role you will need:

Excellent administration skills, including extensive use of Microsoft Outlook and Access Databases.
Track record of working in a fast-paced office environment, dealing with multiple queries at one time
Good communication skills, either face to face or using the telephone.
Staff Supervision and motivation experience.
A customer service focus.
Previous experience in diary management of multiple staff team
Promotion and marketing experience to new and existing clients.
IT literate with experience/appropriate qualification in all Microsoft packages.
An understand of independent living and the wider voluntary and community sector
A driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.

An enhanced DBS will be required as this position involves contact with vulnerable adults.

This role is office-based working from Amber Valley CVS, 33 Market Place Ripley

37 hours per week working Monday thru Friday

£27,899.48 per annum

6 weeks Annual Leave + Bank Holidays (pro-rata) Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme
