Job Overview

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. You will assist with routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and support the team in maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Your proactive approach and technical skills will help uphold our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing components
Assist with troubleshooting and repairing equipment using schematics and technical manuals
Support mechanical repairs as needed to ensure operational efficiency
Follow safety protocols when working with programmable logic controllers and electrical systems
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
Collaborate with team members to prioritise tasks and ensure timely completion of maintenance requests
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or staff repair requests promptly and professionally

Skills

Mechanical knowledge related to building systems, equipment, and machinery
Familiarity with programmable logic controllers used in automation systems
Proven maintenance skills across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing disciplines
Supervising experience or leadership skills to coordinate team efforts effectively
Good communication skills in English for clear reporting and customer interactions
Customer service mindset with the ability to handle requests professionally
