Full job description

Chair Capital is a specialist investment firm operating across energy transition, data centres, AI and MedTech. The firm deploys £10M to £100M+ as principal capital alongside a structured advisory engagement. We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Administrative Assistant to support our investment team and day-to-day business operations. The position is permanent and part-time, with a minimum of 20 hours per week. Additional hours are offered where workload requires it, and are optional. The role is hybrid, based around our Kingsbridge, Devon office, with considerable flexibility over when hours are worked.

The role will provide broad administrative support across the business, including diary and meeting management, correspondence and inbox management, CRM and record keeping, preparation and management of documents and contracts, invoicing and credit control, travel arrangements and general support to the senior team. The successful candidate will work closely with the investment team and gain exposure to companies and transactions throughout the investment process. Previous investment experience is not required; training will be provided.

The successful candidate will be professional, organised, accurate, discreet and comfortable working independently. Strong written communication and competence with Outlook, Word and Excel are important, together with the confidence to follow up outstanding actions, documents and payments. Previous experience in administration, finance, legal, financial services or another professional environment would be advantageous. Salary is £14,750 at 20 hours per week, equivalent to £29,500 on the firm's full-time basis of 40 hours per week. Additional hours are optional and paid pro rata. A discretionary annual bonus applies. Applications should include a CV, preferred working availability and earliest start date.
