Full job description

Essex Luxury Dog Boarding are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic Kennel Worker to join our team. This is a hands on role caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

Walking dogs according to their individual exercise requirements
Preparing and feeding meals
Cleaning kennels, exercise areas, and maintaining excellent hygiene standards
Monitoring and recording dogs’ behaviour, health, and overall wellbeing
Providing enrichment, play, and social interaction to create a positive boarding experience
Assisting with the smooth day day running of the kennels
Welcoming customers and assisting with dog check-ins and check-outs

Requirements:

Confidence handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in animal care or 2 years of K9 studies
Full, valid UK driving licence
Ability to follow instructions and maintain a clean, safe working environment
Excellent time management skills with a reliable and positive attitude
Physically fit and able to carry out active, hands on work
