Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm)

We are seeking a Grounds Person to join our Estates Team at Haberdashers' Elstree Schools. Under the direction of the Head of Grounds, you will play a vital role in preparing and maintaining our wide variety of sports surfaces and surrounding areas, ensuring our campus remains welcoming and professional for students, staff, and visitors alike.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare high-quality sports surfaces including cricket, rugby, football, and lacrosse, as appropriate to the season.
Maintain non-turf surfaces such as 2G pitches, netball courts, tennis courts, and synthetic athletics tracks.
Assist with the renovation and upkeep of sports facilities.
Identify and treat weeds, pests, and diseases as necessary.
Perform basic machinery maintenance, set-up, and cleaning.
Support the maintenance of roads, paths, and fencing, including clearing leaves, debris, and litter.
Assist with snow and ice clearance, including spreading salt or grit.
Provide assistance to other departments as required.
