Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Operations to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting the daily management of operational activities, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards of service. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, leadership qualities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We are a small team and you will be a key part of the continued growth of the business.

Responsibilities

Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing daily business activities to ensure smooth operations.
Coordinate with various departments to facilitate effective communication and workflow.
Monitor operational performance metrics and implement improvements where necessary.
Support in managing staff schedules, training programmes, and performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all operational areas.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Contribute to the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.
Analyse operational data to identify trends and recommend strategic enhancements.
Support inventory management, procurement processes, and logistics coordination as required.
Support with events

Experience

Proven experience in operations management or a similar supervisory role within a relevant industry.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with team members, clients, and suppliers.
Demonstrable leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop staff members.
Proficiency in using relevant software applications such as MS Office Suite or specialised management tools.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations pertinent to the industry is desirable.
A proactive attitude with problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,700.00 per year
