Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate dispensing of medications and providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

Accurately dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Assist in the preparation and administration of medications, providing support to pharmacists and healthcare staff.
Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
Provide excellent patient care by answering queries regarding medications, dosages, and potential side effects.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes through effective medication management.
Keep the pharmacy environment organised and clean, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
Participate in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as necessary.

Skills

Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role within a pharmacy setting is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmaceutical terminology.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in dispensing medications and maintaining records.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
