Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver ready for your next move? Looking for a role that gives you steady work, job security and something you can count on? Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team in Bedford for our customer, a British retailer, WHSmith.

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an ‘any 5 days from 7’ pattern, with start time window of 12:00 to 18:00, contracted to 45 hours per week.

An annual salary of £43,495.00
Driver bonus of up to £450 per month (T&Cs apply)

What you will do on a typical day:

Carry out multidrop deliveries to retail spaces while collecting returns from stores in line with operational requirements
Handle both palletised goods and cages, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading procedures
Maintain clear communication with the Depot Transport Office regarding any issues and deliver exemplary customer service by being polite and courteous at all times
Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner while ensuring required documents are completed accurately and on time

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Previous experience driving Class 2 vehicles is essential
Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
No more than 6 current penalty points
DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements
