HGV Technician

Competitive salary dependent on experience

We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join our well-established company. With a long-standing reputation in the industry and a continually growing fleet, this is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician seeking a stable, long-term career.

Responsibilities

Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults.
Complete vehicle inspections and ensure all work meets DVSA standards.
Perform preventative maintenance to minimise vehicle downtime.
Accurately complete job cards and maintenance records.
Work safely and maintain high standards of workmanship at all times.

Requirements

Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Repair & Maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience working as an HGV Technician.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A Class 1 (C+E) licence is preferred but not essential.
