Production Operative – Metal Finishing
SMB Plating Ltd – Plymouth
Full-time | Rotating Shifts | Starting Salary £30,000 per year

SMB Plating Ltd is a well-established and growing metal finishing company based in Plymouth. We provide high-quality electroplating, anodising and surface finishing services to customers across a wide range of industries, including marine, aerospace, defence and engineering.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Production Operative to join our team.

What you'll be doing:

Loading and unloading components onto plating jigs
Operating production equipment and processing lines
Inspecting finished work to ensure quality standards are met
Working safely and following company procedures
Assisting across different departments as required

What we're looking for:

A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good attention to detail
Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance
Ability to work as part of a team
Previous manufacturing or engineering experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided

What we offer:

Starting salary of £30,000 per year
Rotating shift pattern with early and late shifts
