About the Role

Are you an ambitious financial leader ready to drive the fiscal strategy of an accelerating business? We are seeking a strategic, commercially minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive board, lead our financial operations, and unlock sustainable growth across our organization.

In this pivotal board-level role, you will do far more than manage numbers—you will shape business strategy, drive profitability, manage risk, and guide our capital allocation. What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

Executive Strategy: Partner directly with the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors to steer long-term financial planning, commercial strategy, and capital allocation.
Financial Control & Governance: Oversee all financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, management accounting, statutory reporting, tax strategy, and audit controls.
Growth & Commercial Leadership: Identify opportunities to improve margins, drive operational efficiencies, evaluate M&A possibilities, and optimize cash flow.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing finance, accounting, and payroll team, fostering a supportive and high-trust work culture.
Risk & Compliance: Maintain robust internal controls, enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, and banking/investor relations.
Stakeholder Management: Present clear, actionable financial reporting and data insights to internal stakeholders, investors, and external partners.

What You Bring (Requirements)

Full professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with substantial post-qualification experience (PQE).
Proven track record in a senior financial leadership role (e.g., CFO, Finance Director, VP of Finance), ideally within a scaling or mid-market business.
Strong commercial acumen and strategic vision beyond standard accounting operations.
Demonstrated experience managing cash flow, commercial contracts, investor relations, and banking relationships.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a track record of building and developing collaborative finance teams.
Comfortable operating with high autonomy in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.
