Front of House Team Member - Perle Hotels

Location: The Bosville Hotel - Dulse & Brose Restaurant

Salary: An hourly rate of £13.45 (+ £1.00 as a housing allowance if you do not require subsidised staff accommodation) + tips & benefits

The Opportunity

This is the perfect role for someone who is a foodie at heart, someone who loves talking about menus, confidently recommending daily specials, and guiding guests through food and wine pairings to elevate their dining experience. About the Hotel

Perched above Portree harbour, The Bosville is a boutique hotel housed within a trio of 18th-century cottages. Stylishly restored, the hotel offers refined yet cosy interiors and spectacular harbour views. Its signature restaurant, Dulse & Brose, celebrates Skye's larder with modern Scottish bistro dining, showcasing freshly landed seafood, Highland meats, and locally foraged ingredients.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and seat guests, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for from the start.

Take accurate orders and serve food with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency.

Confidently promote and upsell menu items, including daily specials, desserts, and drinks.

Share knowledge and passion for food and wine, including recommending pairings to enhance guest experiences.

Support smooth-running service by coordinating with the kitchen and ensuring timely delivery of dishes.

Maintain immaculate restaurant presentation, ensuring tables, cutlery, and service areas are always guest-ready.

Handle guest requests and feedback with confidence and care.

Uphold all health, safety, and food hygiene standards.

What We're Looking For

A genuine love of food, dining, and hospitality, a true restaurant enthusiast.

Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus, but not essential, we'll provide full training.

An interest in wine and food pairings, with confidence in recommending specials and upselling.

Strong communication skills and a friendly, guest-focused approach.

Attention to detail and pride in delivering memorable dining experiences.

A positive, reliable team player with energy and enthusiasm.

Salary & Benefits

An hourly rate of £13.45
£1.00 housing allowance for those NOT requiring accommodation.
