Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Roofers Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting skilled roofers with various tasks on-site, supporting the installation and repair of roofing systems. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, eager to learn, and capable of working in a dynamic environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing a career within the roofing and construction industry.

Duties

Assisting roofers with the preparation and organisation of materials and tools
Handling and transporting roofing materials using hand tools and power tools
Supporting the installation of roofing systems according to schematics and project specifications
Performing heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, tiles, or metal sheets
Operating basic fabrication and carpentry tools to assist with roof framing or support structures
Assisting with plumbing or masonry tasks as required for specialised roofing projects
Ensuring work areas are kept clean and safe throughout the project duration
Supporting welding activities if necessary, following safety guidelines and instructions

Skills

Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or fabrication is desirable but not essential—training will be provided
Knowledge of construction and roofing processes is beneficial
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Physically fit with the stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong team player with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards
