We are seeking a dedicated Roofers Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting skilled roofers with various tasks on-site, supporting the installation and repair of roofing systems. Duties
- Assisting roofers with the preparation and organisation of materials and tools
- Handling and transporting roofing materials using hand tools and power tools
- Supporting the installation of roofing systems according to schematics and project specifications
- Performing heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, tiles, or metal sheets
- Operating basic fabrication and carpentry tools to assist with roof framing or support structures
- Assisting with plumbing or masonry tasks as required for specialised roofing projects
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean and safe throughout the project duration
- Supporting welding activities if necessary, following safety guidelines and instructions
Skills
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or fabrication is desirable but not essential—training will be provided
- Knowledge of construction and roofing processes is beneficial
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Physically fit with the stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong team player with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards

Pay: £27,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
