Are you a highly organised administrator with excellent communication skills and a passion for helping services run smoothly? We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Community Equipment Service Administrator to join our Berkshire Community Equipment Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the provision of community equipment across Berkshire, helping to ensure that people receive the equipment they need in a timely and efficient manner. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, equipment suppliers, finance teams and families, coordinating the end-to-end administration process from equipment ordering and purchase orders through to invoicing and monitoring delivery.

About the Role

As the Berkshire Community Equipment Service Administrator, you will:

Coordinate the administration of community equipment requests and orders.

Manage and monitor equipment orders through supplier systems.

Liaise with clinicians, service users, families and suppliers to resolve queries and prevent delays.

Maintain accurate records, reports and performance information.

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the wider equipment service team.

Manage departmental inboxes, prioritising urgent referrals and enquiries.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:
Significant administrative experience, ideally within the NHS or healthcare environment.

Experience of ordering processes and financial systems.

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Strong IT skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

The ability to prioritise workload and work independently.

A commitment to confidentiality, professionalism and teamwork.

Please note it is proposed that this post will be in scope to transfer to Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust (FHFT) on the 1 September 2026. If you are appointed prior to 1 September 2026, you will join Thames Valley ICB initially, but it is proposed that your employment will then transfer to FHFT in accordance with TUPE/ CoSOP regulations. If your start date is on or after the 1 September 2026 it is planned that you will be employed directly by FHFT from commencement.

Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to provide and coordinate administrative tasks supporting the provision of community equipment services for Berkshire

Take responsibility for the entire process of equipment provision from receiving orders, creating PO numbers, ordering, invoicing receipting etc.

As part of this process, liaise with professionals, families, and the equipment services supplier to ensure seamless process which leads to no delays in equipment provision.
