Full job description

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles, ensuring a flawless appearance. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail . Experience in filler work (small dents) would be advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

Prepare vehicles by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas to ensure optimal paint adherence
Mix paints and primers accurately according to colour codes and specifications
Operate spray guns and other painting equipment with precision to achieve an even finish
Apply multiple coats of paint, lacquer, or protective coatings as required
Polish vehicles to the required standard
Use hand tools and power tools for surface preparation and finishing tasks
Conduct quality checks on painted surfaces, rectifying any imperfections promptly

Requirements

Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer or in a similar automotive refinishing role
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to vehicle painting tasks
Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling vehicle parts or materials safely
Attention to detail with a focus on achieving high-quality finishes
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

No formal qualifications are required, just lots of hands on experience

Your working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm - NO WEEKEND WORKING.

Occasional overtime may be available.

Holiday entitlement is 20 days per annum PLUS Bank Holidays.
