Job Description:

Big Motoring World Group is a leading car supermarket that is going from strength to strength and is looking to employ a PDI Technician at our Preparation Centre Site in Peterborough. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast and progressive moving group as well as working alongside experienced technicians to help and support and your career development. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals with a self-motivating attitude, with an eye for detail and able to work as part of a team within a busy, fast-moving environment.

Shift pattern - 06:00am - 14:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

The skill range can be level 2 or level 3 qualification
Good communicative skills and ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
Literate, numerate and proficient computer skills
Systematic and organised; pays attention to the finer details
Demonstrates an honest and diligent approach to work
Prior experience of working to output targets
Take pride and responsibility for your own appearance as well as the appearance and organisation of the site in which you work
Team player
VOSA approved MOT tester also an advantage but not essential
Dealer's experience preferable but not essential

Essential:

Your own set of Tools
Hold a Full UK Driving Licence - Any job offer that requires driving company vehicles is subject to a DVLA check, and applicants with six or more penalty points or a previous disqualification may not meet our insurance requirements and therefore may not be eligible for employment.
