Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Inspection & Testing Electrician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring electrical systems meet safety and quality standards through precise inspection and testing procedures. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, testing electrical installations, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations, all while contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed inspections of electrical installations.
Conduct comprehensive testing of electrical installations to verify proper operation and adherence to safety standards.
Document inspection and test results accurately, preparing detailed reports for review and compliance purposes.
Maintain all tools, testing devices, and equipment in excellent condition through regular checks and proper handling.
Follow strict safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure personal safety and the safety of colleagues during all inspection activities.

Requirements

Proven electrical experience with a strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards.
Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to inspection and testing procedures.
Strong communication skills for documenting findings clearly and collaborating with team members effectively.
Relevant certifications in electrical testing work is mandatory; ongoing training opportunities are available.
Ability to work safely in various environments while adhering to health and safety regulations.
The position requires travelling throughout the West/South West of England and Wales carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports on mainly commercial premises.
