Full job description

Job Overview

Due to ongoing projects and new contracts.We are seeking a experienced and reliable Ground Worker to join our team, the successful candidate will have good knowledge of all aspects of groundworks including foundations, drainage and disabled ramps .

Responsibilities

Assisting with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, and lawn care
Operating hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment including excavators and irrigation systems
Supporting construction activities by preparing sites, digging trenches, and laying foundations
Maintaining a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
Collaborating with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes

Requirements

Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with power tools and construction equipment such as excavators are advantageous
Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently
Basic understanding of irrigation systems and site maintenance procedures
Physical fitness to perform manual labour including digging, lifting, and standing for extended periods
Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills

Pay: £16.00-£20.00 per hour
