Full job description

Job Overview

We are looking for a professional class 1 HGV driver who takes pride in their work, has a good attitude and understands the importance of reliability, safety, tacho legistation and providing a high level of service to our customers. Previous Class 1 experience is preferred but not mandatory.

The role involves a variety of work using curtainsider and refrigerated trailers. The position will involve nights away from home, for which there is an additional payment.

Various shift patterns available. 5 working days one week, 6 the next or 4 on 4 off can be considered to comply with the current tacho rules and legislations.

You will need a full Class 1 (C+E) licence, valid Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card.

If you're an experienced Class 1 driver looking for a secure, long-term position with premium tractor units, we'd be pleased to hear from you.

Schedule:

Day shifts, Night shifts, weekend availability

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of paperwork, POD’s, expenses and fuel usage.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Daily walk around checks and tacho legislation to be followed.

Pay: £45,500.00-£53,500.00 per year
