We are looking for an experienced passionate individual to work as Swimming Teacher, joining a highly successful swimming teaching team.

Your primary role will be to teach our 3-11 years children learn to swim programme, communicate with parents and deliver excellent standards of customer experience for swimmers and parents.

This role is for weekday evenings and weekend hours, self-employed contract with guaranteed hours.

Opportunities to teach adult and child lessons, adult private lessons and holiday courses.

Main Duties:

To plan and deliver swimming lessons aligning with the Swim England Scheme of work
Teach lessons from both in and out of the water
Ensure safe provision of all equipment and ensure it is used correctly
Make sure safety standards are followed in sessions and undertake dynamic risk assessments
Encourage swimmers to achieve their full potential
Provide explanations and demonstrate up to date and accurate swimming techniques
Develop swimmer’s techniques and identify ways to improve performance
Create a positive and fun environment in which to motivate and encourage swimmers
Regularly assess each swimmer’s ability and progress and arrange for the award of the appropriate certificates

Skills:

Positive attitude and passionate about swimming and teaching
Good communication skills
Quality demonstration skills
A desire to meet individual needs
Professional, punctual and well-organised person responsible for the implementation, development and organisation of swimming classes
Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings and weekends

Requirements:

· Right to work in the UK

· Level 2 qualified Swim Instructor ASA/STA

· DBS Checked

· Fully insured

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: £22.00 per hour
