Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a part time highly skilled and dedicated surgeon to join our practice team. We are creating a team which can deliver a very high level quality dentistry. We will invest heavily in you and in the equipment to enable you to provide great dentistry in comfortable caring environment . As a dental surgeon, you will be responsible for diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and executing dental interventions while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care. Lot of hands on mentorship will be provided. If you want it. Our emphasis is on excellence, empathy and teamwork. Days available- Wednesday/Thursday/Friday.

If interested I am willing to teach you everything I have learnt in the last 25 years- single tooth dentistry to full mouth rehabilitation, patient communication to executing quality dentistry.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments and consultations with patients to determine their dental goals.
Perform a variety of procedures, ensuring adherence to established protocols and best practices.
Utilise imaging techniques ( photos and radiographs) to assist in diagnosis and restorative/ surgical treatment planning.
Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care before, during, and after treatments.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation throughout the treatment planning process.
Provide post-operative care and follow-up consultations to improve patient recovery.

Requirements

Dental degree from an accredited institution with GDC registration.
knowledge of dental anatomy and surgical/ restorative procedures is beneficial.
Proficiency in medical imaging techniques is highly desirable.
Familiarity with CAD software is an advantage but not mandatory. This can be learnt.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and dental staff. This is learnable.
Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical medical practices.
