About Davisons Law

What you’ll do

When you join the team with Davisons Law (DP Law) as a Residential Property Legal Assistant, you will be involved in all aspects of property transactions from new business through to post completion, ensuring all necessary documentation is processed accurately and efficiently. This role involves a mix of administrative and legal tasks related to conveyancing.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assisting fee earners with residential property transactions from instruction through to post completion

· Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and third parties to progress transactions efficiently

· Administering filing systems which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files

· Greet and welcome visitors as they arrive

· Responding to client enquiries, providing updates, and ensuring excellent client care and communication

· Preparing mail and enclosures for dispatch

· Arranging the scanning and photocopying of paperwork

· To work with an attention to detail

· To provide general conveyancing administration and support where necessary

· To have experience of handling client enquiries both face to face, remotely and by telephone
