Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Digital Manager to lead our digital print department within our busy and growing printing manufacturing business.

This is a hands-on management role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of our HP Indigo digital presses and large format equipment, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and customer deadlines are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the daily operation of the digital print room, including HP Indigo and large format production.
Schedule and prioritise work to meet customer deadlines and maximise efficiency.
Ensure all jobs are produced to the highest quality standards and client specifications.
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to the digital team.
Monitor machine performance and coordinate routine maintenance to minimise downtime.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across digital and large format processes.
Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient working environment.
Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication throughout production.

About You

Strong experience operating HP Indigo presses
Previous experience in a senior operator, supervisor, or management role within digital print.
Good understanding of digital print workflows, colour management, and production planning.
Experience with large format printing and finishing equipment would be advantageous.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Flexible, reliable, and willing to support overtime requirements during busy periods.
