YOUR ROLE

Our operation in Wednesbury is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their fast-paced, dynamic operation.

In this role, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient operational activities within the warehouse to meet and exceed customer expectations and health and safety standards. You will carry out the safe and accurate physical and systemic counting and stock placement and perform warehouse administrative duties utilising the on-site WMS.

The shift pattern for the role is Monday to Friday, 14:00 until 22:30.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Perform accurate stock counts
Manage all operational administration, including pick waving, workflow monitoring (inbound, receipts, picking, replenishment), off‑circuit activity and live status updates.
Ensure all work complies with legislation, company policies, SOPs, standing instructions and contract requirements.
Safely operate company equipment in line with procedures and legal standards.
Help create and maintain Work Instructions (WIs) in collaboration with the Compliance team.
Maintain high housekeeping standards, including correct waste segregation.
Use mechanical handling equipment as required (subject to holding correct licences/qualifications).

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are seeking a candidate with a GCSE pass in English and Maths (or equivalent), along with previous experience working in a dynamic warehouse environment.

FLT licences such as Reach or Counterbalance are desirable, though not essential.

You should be confident working as part of a large team and comfortable meeting targets and deadlines. Due to the nature of the role, strong attention to detail is crucial to ensure accuracy and high-quality standards are always maintained.
